Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to control.
- One account may be used to rent, list, or do both.
- Verification may be required before booking, publishing, receiving payouts, or accessing sensitive booking details.
- We may pause access while reviewing safety, payment, identity, or policy concerns.
Marketplace role
Rent-A-Blank provides marketplace, payment, communication, and recordkeeping tools. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, the lister owns or controls the item and the renter and lister contract with each other for the rental.
- Members are responsible for listing accuracy, lawful possession, safe use, inspection, and timely handoff and return.
- Off-platform payment, safeguard evasion, impersonation, and misuse of another person's information are prohibited.
- Booking snapshots, condition evidence, messages, and handoff confirmations may be used to resolve a disagreement.
Enforcement and disputes
We may remove content, limit features, hold payouts where permitted, warn or suspend an account, or cancel a booking when reasonably necessary to protect members or the marketplace.
- Material moderation decisions include a reason and an appeal path when one is available.
- Payment disputes and damage claims follow the versioned rules attached to the booking.
- These draft terms will be updated with governing-law, arbitration, liability, and statutory disclosures after counsel review.
